It's been a busy rest day. This morning we walked to the station and caught the ferry to Laboe. A fascinating cruise down the fjorde, and a visit to, and up, the naval memorial tower.
Back to Kiel for a wander round, than off to find the house the family lived in. Easily found - the owners were away on a cycling trip to Hamburg, but neighbours were very friendly and helpful.
Now back in the Kieler Brauerei, eating and drinking local fare.
Tomorrow, back to Hamburg, after a return to the frauenklinikto see if they've dredged up anything.
