Gent is wonderful. We'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay. A much happier and livelier place than Bruges.

| Waterzooi at Amadeus |
Had the local Waterzooi. The translation to chicken stew doesn't do it justice. Delicious creamy sauce with chicken, veg and herbs.
The trip to Calais was ridiculously easy. M3 and M25 clear - arrived an hour early, so got earlier train.
Cologne tomorrow.
